Amora®

The Amora brand is considered as a synonym of Dijon mustard in the Czech Republic. The key to success remains innovation hand in hand with maintaining the traditional values of the brand with an emphasis on quality raw materials and excellent taste, which has been valued on the Czech market for several decades.

The Amora brand was registered in 1919 in the city of Dijon by a mustard producer, who eventually decided not to use the name and kept its historical name, which had been known since 1703. The Amora brand as such began to be used only in 1934, after the company was bought by a new owner. The brand has become very successful, so the company decided to produce spices, cucumbers, olives, etc. in addition to mustard.

In the 1950s, Amora began investing in advertising to build greater brand awareness. In 1953, a glass that was used as a drinking glass after consuming mustard became a big hit. Amora thus gradually became the number one brand in its field in France and began exporting its goods worldwide.

Bad Ischler

Alpine salt has a long history and has called the Austrian mountains home for 250 million years. This “white gold” was first mined in the Salzkammergut region about 7,000 years ago and has shaped the area ever since. It is the oldest region in the world where salt has been continuously produced to this day.

The story of the Bad Ischler brand began in 1957, and since then it has become an integral part not only of Austrian cuisine but also of Austrian culture. Bad Ischler is the best-selling salt brand in Austria.

Bad Ischler Alpine Salt contains 99.6% sodium chloride! Thanks to its long tradition of mining technology and its exceptional 99.6% purity, Bad Ischler salt ranks among the highest-quality salts in the world.

It is a vacuum salt, produced by evaporating a brine solution under reduced pressure. This process gives Bad Ischler salt its fine, uniform, and delicate crystals.

Unlike sea salt or Himalayan salt, the Austrian Alps provide a local source of salt of world-class quality. Mining takes place in a UNESCO-protected area, and production at the Ebensee saltworks fully utilizes available technologies such as energy recovery to ensure an optimal CO₂ balance and sustainable energy management.

Bertolli

Bertolli Olive Oil Brings 150 Years of Expertise

When you’ve been in the business of producing olive oil for more than 150 years, it’s not a stretch to say you’ve mastered the art of a fine oil. It all started in 1865 when Francesco Bertolli and his wife, Caterina, began selling wine, cheese, olives and—of course—olive oil. Their local store was a success because they focused on only selling the highest-quality products.

Fast-forward more than a century and you’ll find that the Bertolli brand has found continued success by keeping quality as their focus. Years of research and testing have helped them fine-tune the process of sampling, blending, bottling and shipping the best olive oils to consumers around the world.

Bertolli actually pays farmers more money to pick olives for their oil earlier in the season. Why? “It’s the only way we can guarantee having the highest-quality raw materials,” explains Anna Cane, Bertolli’s Corporate Quality Coordinator. Picking olives earlier produces a flavor that contains all the characteristics desired in a good olive oil: the right touch of sweetness, bitterness and fruitiness. Higher-quality olives even contain more antioxidants, meaning they have more health benefits.

When you’re reaching for a bottle of Bertolli olive oil, you can rest assured that the company has taken the utmost care in bringing you a product that is delicious, healthy and expertly produced.

Tony's Chocolonely

Hi there, we’re Tony’s Chocolonely.

Right now, there is illegal labor on cocoa farms in West Africa – with 1.56 million children involved in child labor in Ghana and Côte d’Ivoire. The root cause? Poverty. A direct result of the unequally divided cocoa chain.

At Tony’s, we’re committed to ending exploitation in cocoa. Not just the cocoa in our chocolate, but in all chocolate worldwide. The more people join us and share our story, the sooner we’ll change the industry, ending forced labour, child labour and deforestation in cocoa.

With incredibly tasty chocolate, we lead by example and show the world that chocolate can be made differently: in taste, packaging and the way we do business with cocoa farmers.

We set the standard with Tony’s 5 Sourcing Principles. They include paying a higher price for cocoa long-term to enable farmers to earn a living income and using 100% traceable beans to drive down child labor and prevent deforestation.

Alone, we’ll end exploitation in our cocoa supply chain, but together we can change the industry across the globe. That’s where you come in.

The more people join us and share our story, the sooner we’ll end exploitation in cocoa together.

The choice is yours. Are you in?
