Hi there, we’re Tony’s Chocolonely.
Right now, there is illegal labor on cocoa farms in West Africa – with 1.56 million children involved in child labor in Ghana and Côte d’Ivoire. The root cause? Poverty. A direct result of the unequally divided cocoa chain.
At Tony’s, we’re committed to ending exploitation in cocoa. Not just the cocoa in our chocolate, but in all chocolate worldwide. The more people join us and share our story, the sooner we’ll change the industry, ending forced labour, child labour and deforestation in cocoa.
With incredibly tasty chocolate, we lead by example and show the world that chocolate can be made differently: in taste, packaging and the way we do business with cocoa farmers.
We set the standard with Tony’s 5 Sourcing Principles. They include paying a higher price for cocoa long-term to enable farmers to earn a living income and using 100% traceable beans to drive down child labor and prevent deforestation.
Alone, we’ll end exploitation in our cocoa supply chain, but together we can change the industry across the globe. That’s where you come in.
The more people join us and share our story, the sooner we’ll end exploitation in cocoa together.
The choice is yours. Are you in?
